Vietnam now requires at least one parent to travel to the child's birth country. We recommend that both parents go if possible. It is a wonderful experience for you to share together.

7. Will I be escorted to Vietnam?

Our English-speaking staff in Vietnam will meet you at the airport. They will see you through all of the official
proceedings and even help you with your sightseeing while you
are there.

8. How long is the trip?
The trip to Vietnam is usually two

weeks long. However, you should be prepared for unexpected delays during your trip.

9. Do you ever have only one parent travel to pick up the child?
Yes, about 40% of the time only the mother travels to receive the child. If both parents are not able to travel, you may want to consider taking a friend or relative along with you. If both parents do not travel there are several additional forms that must be completed and taken with you. Sometimes only the father travels.
