2. When you arrive at your port of exit from the United States you
must go to the ticket counter and check in again. You will not see
your bags here but you must have your baggage claim tickets so they
can be sure they get them on the plane. You will not claim your
bags until your final destination.

forms until you reach your final destination.
4. When you arrive, you will first go to Immigration. They will
want to see your passport and your visa. Do not engage the officials
in conversation and do only what you are told.
5. You will next go to baggage claim, get your bags and go to Customs.
They will ask to see your customs form and probably your passport
as well. On your customs form you should check "nothing to declare."
You may or may not have your bags searched. If they are searched
don't try to stop them or be too helpful. Just let them look through
and don't volunteer any information. Follow the same instructions
when leaving the country.
6. You will then exit the airport and an IAAP representa-tive will
be there to meet you. |
